Marina has lost her diamonds...

Fans of Marina (and I count myself amongst them) have had a long wait for this the follow up to her brilliant debut album.

Overall it is a really good album. But it is a very bitter sweet offering. This time around Marina has teamed herself up with some of the best producers around. This has resulted in an over commercial and pretty run of the mill sound. Whatever it was that made Marina unique has pretty much been lost in all the hype.

Have a listen though - despite this, it is a good album. But somewhere along the line the diamonds have lost their shine.
